Editing Terms and Conditions

*The following services are not available at this time: Internal citation accuracy, Works Cited/Footnotes/Endnotes review, Plagiarism and AI-Use Review

Before editing work begins, all clients (new and returning) will be required to agree to a detailed form containing long forms of the terms and conditions outlined below. All terms must be agreed to for any editing work to begin.

• The Client is responsible for:

  • academic integrity - clients are responsible for submitting their own original work

  • final copy submission, including errors that may have been missed as part of the editing process

  • full payment before services begin

• Ink & Insight is not responsible for:

  • writing or rewriting whole or portions of assignments

  • editing for AI or other forms of plagiarism

  • editing suggestions that are used or unused

  • academic misconduct claims resulting from how edit suggestions are used

  • delays caused by late submission of required materials

  • attaining specific grades, outcomes, or levels of improvement

  • ensuring Client documents remain confidential, except in duty-to-report situations

  • ensuring Client documents are deleted after one week after editing comments have been provided to clients

• What to expect regarding refunds and delivery:

  • once editing has started, services are considered delivered in progress and are non-refundable

    • no refund/credit will be provided based on the grade received or whether the assignment was submitted as directed

    • if the client cancels the request before the editing process has begun, a partial refund may be issued

  • turnaround times are estimates - all efforts will be made to return the edited version on time

  • rush delivery is subject to availability

  • one reasonable clarification follow-up request
